APPSC Group 1 Eligibility

APPSC Group 1 Qualification:

01 Deputy Collectors in A.P. Civil Service A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
02 Commercial Tax Officers in A.P. Commercial Taxes Service.
03 Deputy Supdt.  of Police (Civil) Cat-2 inA.P. Police Service
04 Deputy Supdt.  of Jails (MEN) in A.P. Jail Service
05 Divisional Fire Officers in Fire & Emergency Services A Bachelor’s Degree in B.E. (Fire), provided that if BE (Fire) candidates are not available Candidates with the degree in any discipline will be considered.
06 District Registrar in A.P. Registration andStamps Service Degree of Graduation from esteemed institution in India or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
07 District Tribal Welfare Officer in A.P.Tribal Welfare Service.
08 District Employment Officer in Employment Service
09 Asst. Treasury Officer/Asst. Accounts Officer in A.P. Treasury & Accounts Service. A Degree in Commerce OR Economics OR Mathematics of a University recognized by the U.G.C. with at least Second class in the subject OR CA of the UK or India or an Incorporated Accountant (London)
10 Deputy Registrar in A.P. Cooperative Service A Bachelor’s Degree
11 District Panchayat Raj Officers in Panchayat Raj Service
12 Regional Transport Officers in A.P. Transport Service
13 District Social Welfare Officer in A.P. Social Welfare Service.

(i) A Bachelor’s Degree

(ii) Preference shall be given to persons possessing a degree in “Sociology” or “Social Work”

14 District B.C. Welfare Officer in B.C. Welfare Service A Bachelor’s Degree
15 Municipal Commissioner Grade-II in A.P. Municipal Administration Service

APPSC Group 1 Age Limit:

For Sr. No. 01, 02, 06 to 17 & 19 18 – 34 Years
For Sr. No. 03 21 – 28 Years
For Sr. No. 04 18 – 28 Years
For Sr. No. 05 21 – 26  Years
For Sr. No. 18 18 – 26  Years

Group 1 Age Relaxation:

Category Relaxation
For SC/ ST and BCs Candidate’s 5 years
For Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates 10 years
For Ex-Service men (3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces). 3 years
For N.C.C (who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C) – 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C. 3 years
For A.P. State Government Employees (Employees of APSEB, APSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible) – 5 Years maximum based on the length of regular service 5 years
For Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months 3 years

APPSC Group 2 Qualification:

Asst. Commercial Tax Officer in A.P. Commercial Taxes Sub-Service A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
Assistant Labour Officer in A.P. Labour & Employment Sub-Service
Executive Officer Grade-II in A.P. Endowments Sub-Service A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
Note: Candidates shall profess Hindu Religion under sub section (4) of Section 29 of the A.P.C. &
H.R.I. and Endowments Act 30/87.
Assistant Development Officer in A.P. Handlooms and Textiles Sub Service

A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.

A Diploma in Textile Technology or a Diploma in Handloom Technology issued by the A.P. State Board of Technical Education or an equivalent qualification.

APPSC Group 2 Age Limit:

According to APPSC Eligibility Criteria, age of candidates for all posts should not be less than 18 years and 42 years. Appliers will be admissible for age relaxation as mentioned below.

  1. Sir what is the age limit for group 2 upcoming calendar 2017-2018

    • Hii Tabassum,
      For Non Executive Posts, the age limit varies from 18 to 42 years
      For Executive Posts, the age limit is also 18 to 42 years but for “Sub-Registrar Grade-II in A.P Registration Sub -ordinate Service : 20 to 42 years ” & ” Prohibition & Excise Sub Inspector in A.P. Prohibition & Excise Sub-Service : 18 to 28 years”

      Yes, you can apply as for Group 1 notifications, you will get age relaxation and for Group 2 notifications, maximum age required is 42 years.
