Bank PO Preliminary Exam Pattern:

  • Every section in the exam will be in both English and Hindi language.
  • The subject comprises of Reasoning Ability Paper, Quantitative Aptitude Paper and English Language Paper.
  • Reasoning Ability Paper and Quantitative Aptitude Paper will have 35 questions and 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer.
  • English Language Paper will have 30 questions and 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer.
  • There will be deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong question from the total of your marks.

Features of bank Exam Pattern:

  • The first phase in the mains examination will be of objective type which comprioses of subjects namely Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Data Interpretation & Analysis and General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness.
  • The marks distribution for all the subjects is totally different.
  • The total number of questions available in the exam will be 155 and they carry 200 marks.
  • Candidates have to complete their exam in total 3 hours.
  • Second phase of mans examination is Descriptive Test and in this section there will be only 2 questions and this section has to9 be completed within 30 minutes.

Bank Clerk Exam Pattern

Bank Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern

  • Bank preliminary exam for Clerk has three sections that are Reasoning Ability Paper, Numerical Ability Paper and English Language Paper.
  • Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability Paper contains 35 questions and each question carries 1 mark.
  • The next section that is English Language Paper consists of 30 questions and they are of 1 mark each.
  • The preliminary examination is of total 100 marks with total 100 questions.
  • Duration of the preliminary exam is 1 hour.
  • There is a deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Bank Clerk Mains Exam Pattern (Phase II)

  • First section that is General/Financial Awareness section consist of 50 questions and total 50marks will be awarded for this section and time duration to complete this section is 35 minutes.
  • Second section is the English language which comprises of 40 questions and this section will be of total 40 marks. Time allotted to complete this section is 30 minutes.
  • Next section is Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude Section which contains 50 questions and total 60 marks will be awarded for this section is 60 marks and time duration for this section is 45 minutes.
  • Other section is quantitative aptitude having 50 questions carrying 1 mark each and time awarded for this section is 45 minutes.

Negative Marking:

  • There is negative marking in the exam; there will be additional deduction of 0.25 marks for the wrong attempted answer.
  • Avoid attempting the wrong answers.

The Specialist Officer exam is conducted for the following posts:

  • The SO Exam pattern comprises of first section that is reasoning which will have 50 questions and time to complete this section is 30 minutes.
  • The next section that is English Language also consists of 50 questions and this section has to be completed within 25 minutes.
  • Third division of the exam is Quantitative Aptitude which will have 50 questions is 30 marks and these are to be completed within 35 minute.

Bank Exam Pattern for Law Officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I

  • The exam comprises of first section namely reasoning having 50 questions and time allotted to complete this section is 30 minutes.
  • The second section is English Language which will have 50 question and time duration for this section is 25 minutes.
  • Next section is General Awareness (With Special Reference to Banking) also consist of 50 questions which is to be completed within 30 minutes.
  • The last section is Professional Knowledge and number of questions available in this section are 50 for which the total marks are 80 and time allotted to complete this section is 35 minutes.
  • The entire exam has total 200 questions and is of 80 marks.
