BHU PET 2017 Exam Pattern:

Mode, Duration and Language The Postgraduate-level exam is held in Offline mode
Exam contains a total duration of 2 hours
Candidates must use blue/black ball-point pen to mark answers in the OMR sheet
The entrance exam paper is available in both Hindi and English languages
Number, Type and Level of Questions The test carries a total of 150 objective-type questions from various sections.
The BHU UET 2016 consists of Multiple Type Questions (MCQs) having four options.
The questions asked in the test for respective programmes are based on Graduation standard or equivalent.
Sections in papers for MA, M.Sc and M.Com MA (Hons.): Questions are asked from Language Comprehension
M.Com (Hons.): Questions are based on Accounting and Business Organisation
M.Sc (Hons.): Questions are based on Physics
Marking Scheme Test carries total of 450 marks
3 marks are awarded to each correct answer marked by the candidate
1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer marked by the candidate
Each non-answered question gets zero mark.
In case a candidate marks more than one response for a question, this is treated as a wrong answer and negative marking is applicable
