Common Law Admission Test is commonly known as CLAT, considered as all India level entrance test, regulated by the 18 National Law Universities on rotation basis. CLAT Exam Pattern consists of types of questions, number of questions, marking scheme, exam duration etc.

CLAT Exam Pattern

On 13-05-2018, CLAT exam will be held through online mode. Candidates, who are still preparing from old CLAT Exam Pattern, are advised that they can prepare well from new CLAT exam pattern for UG & PG programmes are given below:

CLAT 2018 Exam Pattern for UG Courses:

  • According to CLAT Exam Pattern, Common Law Admission Test will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test).
  • In CLAT 2018 Exam, only objective type questions will be asked from each subject areas of maximum 200 marks.
  • Time duration of CLAT Entrance Exam will be of 2 hours.
  • CLAT Question Paper will be in English language.
  • Aspirants will be awarded 1 mark for each right answer.
  • As per CLAT Exam Pattern 2018, there is a negative marking that is 0.25 marks will be subtracted for each wrong answer.

CLAT Exam Pattern 2018 For PG Courses:

  • CLAT Exam will be conducted on 13-05-2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in online mode only (Computer Based Test).
  • All the questions are of multiple-choice questions from each subject.
  • Total questions will be of 150 marks, asked from each subject areas.
  • Time duration of CLAT 2018 exam will be of 2 hours.
  • The language of CLAT Question Paper will be English only.
  • Each right answer will be of 1 mark; however 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
