CLAT Syllabus 2024 for UG Course

By means of the CLAT Exam, candidates are offered admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses after passing the Class 12 Examinations. The CLAT Syllabus is different for UG and PG courses. Let’s discuss the CLAT UG 2024 Syllabus. The CLAT 2024 UG question paper will consist of questions from multiple sections such as the English language, Quantitative Techniques, and Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning.

CLAT 2024 Exam Pattern for UG

The UG-CLAT 2024 will be a 02-hours test. The Question paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. Also, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong-answered question.

CLAT Syllabus 2024 for General Knowledge:

Passages derived from news, journalistic sources and other non-fiction writing of about 450 words each will be given. The objective is to examine your legal information or knowledge discussed in the passage.

Each passage will be followed by a series of questions that will require you to demonstrate your awareness of various aspects of current affairs and general knowledge, including:

• Main Events of India and the world
• Arts and culture
• National & International Affairs
• Historical Events

CLAT Legal Reasoning Syllabus 2024:

Each passage will consist of 450 words related to the facts, situations, or scenarios involving legal matters, public policy questions, or moral philosophical inquiries. You will benefit from a general awareness of contemporary legal and moral issues to better apply general principles or propositions to the given fact scenarios.

Each passage would be followed by a series of questions that will require you to:

• Identify and infer the rules and principles on which the passage is focused.
• Rules and principles to various facts and situations are asked in the passage.
• Understanding of the rules and principles in any altered situations.

CLAT Syllabus 2024 – Logical Reasoning

The Logical Reasoning section of the UG-CLAT 2024 will judge your interest in the study of law, research aptitude, and problem-solving ability. A series of passages containing about 300 words will be given. The questions will be asked related to the following:

• Acknowledgment of arguments, their premises, and conclusions
• Identification of arguments discussed in the passage
• Reasoning Ability
• Conclusions based on particular premises or evidence
• Infer what follows from the passage and apply these inferences to new situations

CLAT PG Syllabus 2024

Through CLAT PG Entrance Exam 2024, aspirants will be granted admission to post-graduate Law courses in various Indian Universities. CLAT PG Exam carries a total of 120 marks and 02 hours will be permitted to answer the question paper. This will include Multiple Choice Questions as well as Subjective Questions.

CLAT 2024 Exam Pattern for PG Course:

• CLAT LLM Exam will be a two-hour exam of 120 marks.
• The question paper will contain 120 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 1 mark each.

CLAT 2024 Exam

Common Law Admission Test abbreviated as CLAT 2024 is conducted to provide admission to eligible students in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Law Programs. CLAT 2024 is conducted at the national level in online mode by National Law University Odisha Cuttack.

This year 20 NLUs and over 25 Private Law Schools are participating in Common Law Admission Test 2024 offering 2420 seats and a total of 50,000 candidates can take CLAT 2024.
