Descriptive test:

The Descriptive is nothing but it is the test of English Language Writing Skills. In this test, it is expected that students may be asked to write an Essay, Letter of any given theme or topic.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2019:

• The objective test consists of 100 questions which carry 1 mark each.
• There is negative marking for wrong answers and 0.25 marks will deducted.
• The Descriptive Test consists of 50 questions carrying 1 mark each

• The candidate has to appear in Tier-I at one of the test centers mentioned above.
• There will be negative marking of a ¼ mark for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
• No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question.
• Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier-I. For Tier-II examination, there will be a minimum cut off marks of 33%.
