Indian Railway to Announce (30,000) Apprenticeship Training Program

With an aim to boost up skill India initiative, Indian railway is all set to hire 30,000 Apprenticeship Trainees. This is brilliant massive apprenticeship program which has a main motive to train the apprentices effectively.

Well, if we talk about pas few years’ data 2017-18 financial year, 26,000 training slots have already been notified for the apprentices profile and apart from this, 4000 individuals are already in training period.

However, the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken this great initiative to boost skill India initiative. And the railway department will contribute their complete efforts by providing training to 30,000 apprentices in its 16 zonal units and 7 production units.

RAILWAYS TO TRAIN 30000 APPRENTICES

You will be excited to know that these Apprenticeship Trainees will be imparted training for various categories fitter, turner, machinist, welder, painter, carpenter, electrician, refrigerator and AC mechanic, mechanic (motor vehicle/diesel) and others.

“As a part of development of Human Resources, Railway acknowledges the fact that skill development of the labor force is very important and Skill development is also necessary for the economic development of the country.

Apprenticeship Training Program

For the best support of the trainees, the basic and practical job training will be given to them at the workplace. The basic training of the candidates will counts for 20-30% of overall duration of apprenticeship training is also provided to those who have not undergone any institutional training.

Apprentices trained in Railway establishments will get preference for 12,000 of the 62,907 vacancies announced recently in Level 1 pay scale. The trained candidates will be given outstanding benefits.

After the releases of budget, lots of railway vacancies for group D and group C have been resulted out. This is a great opportunity for the job seekers seeking jobs in Indian railway. But now with the introduction of Apprenticeship Training Program, the employees will be trained with good techniques and strategies so that they will be suitable fit for the positions.
