MEXT Scholarship is distributed in seven categories as per the requirements of the Indian Student. Academic Qualification for MEXT Scholarship India 2018:

Age Criteria for MEXT Scholarship Japan 2018:

Age of the Undergraduate Students, College of Technology Students and Specialized Training College (Senshu-gakko) Students must be between 17 to 21 years (between 02.04.1996 and 01.04.2001). Teacher Training Students, Young Leaders’ Program Student and Research Student are required to be Under 35 years.

Japan MEXT Scholarship 2018 Stipend:

  • Contenders keen to Apply for MEXT Scholarship 2018 will receive stipend of Rs. 117,000 Yen/month.
  • For Research Student and Teacher Training Students, stipend amount will be 143,000 Yen/ month.
  • 242,000Yen/month (This may be subject to change) (Approx. Rs.142,000/month) will be provided to Young Leaders’ Program Student.

Other Benefits of India MEXT Scholarship 2018:

  • Apart from the stipend, contenders will be exempted to pay tuition fee.
  • Round-trip airfare will be provided to the applying contenders for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program 2018.
