Central Government of India had invited MOMA Scholarship application forms from those candidates who are interested to apply against The Ministry of Minority Affairs scholarship. Through this scheme, government is ready to provide financial help to poor and weaker minority section candidates who don’t have enough money for their higher education. Students who got highest marks but did not afford higher studies can apply against MOMA Scholarship 2017-2018. Candidates who are applying against Pre/Post Matric Scholarship are suggested to submit their complete MOMA application form and submit it before the last date that is “31-08-2017”.

This scheme helps to remove the financial burden on parents which support the students to complete their education and also enhance their career in the better field. All over the country every year around 60000+ or more scholarships will be given to students of minority communities.

Ministry of Minority Affairs carried out scholarship scheme is to provide financial support to candidates who belong to minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs Jains, Zorastrians (Parsis) & Buddhists and are from economically backward communities of society. Ministry of Minority Affairs gives chance to candidates to do start their higher education without in financial problem. So, candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria must fill MOMA Scholarship form as soon as possible.

Eligibility Limit:

The Scholarship will be given to the candidates whose parent’s annual income must not be exceeding 2 lakh and must be below poverty line (BPL).

For Moma Scholarship Pre Matric

Scholarship Name Eligibility Conditions
Objective

Aim of this scheme is to encourage parents from minority communities to send their school going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education.

Eligibility Conditions Fellowship will be awarded to the students who have secured maximum 50% marks in the previous final examination.Annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
Duration

Fellowship will be provided for the entire course and maintenance allowance will be given for 10 months only in an academic year.

 For Moma Scholarship Post Matric:

Objective

 It is provided to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to offer them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Eligibility  It awarded to the students who have secured maximum 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
Duration

 It will be provided for the entire course; however, maintenance allowance will be given for a period not exceeding 10 months only in an academic year.

Students should be 10+2 passed or having graduation degree in concerned stream or passed in any competitive examination are eligible to apply.

Procedure to fill MOMA Scholarship Form:

  • First of all, contenders need to visit to the official website that is “www.scholarships.gov.in”.
  • Now press on the concerned link accordingly from “On-Board Schemes” section of the homepage.
  • After that, read the whole details carefully and thoroughly.
  • Now hit on “Student Login-(Fresh / Renewal)” link from “Academic Year 2016 – 2017” section.
  • Now fill the MOMA Scholarship application form with correct information in prescribed manner.
  • Upload all the scanned documents and certificates along with the application form.
  • At last, submit the application form and take a print out of it.
