The RBI Grade B Exam is conducted in two phases – Prelims and Mains. To prepare for the exam, it is necessary for aspirants to know about the Examination Scheme and Syllabus. Therefore, we will first discuss the RBI Grade B Exam Pattern.

RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Pattern (Phase 1):

  • The RBI Grade B Officer 2022 Prelims exam consists of 4 sections and will be conducted in online mode.
  • The total marks allotted to all four sections is 200 and 120 minutes will be permitted to complete the exam.
  • There will be a negative marking of ¼th mark for each wrong answered question.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern:

  • RBI Grade B Mains exam will be of 300 marks.
  • The mains (Phase-II) examination for RBI Grade B Officers in Gr B (DR)- General consists of 3 papers (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III).
  • The Phase 2 Exam will be organized in multiple shifts. You are required to appear for all shifts.
