| Scientist –B (Medical) | MBBS Degree with one year of experience or MPH / MD in Community Medicine from a recognized university. |
| Statistician | Graduate in relevant field from a recognized university with five years of experience from a recognized institution. |

Age Limitation:
For ICMR Scientist–B (Medical) jobs, the maximum age limit shall not exceed 35 years and for ICMR Statistician jobs, the upper age limit must not be more than 30 years.
