As per the Sainik School Kodagu Admission Notification, students who satisfy below given details are eligible to apply
For admission to Class 6
- Students should have passed class 5th from recognized board
- One should be between the Ages of 10 to 12 years as on 31 Mar 2019
For admission to Class 9
- Students should have passed class 8th from recognized board
- One should be between the Ages of 13 to 15 years as on 31 Mar 2019

Sainik School Kodagu Admission Reservation
- 67% of the seats in each Sainik School are reserved for boys from the state in which the Sainik School is located (i.e. Karnataka State). The shortfall, if any and the remaining seats will be open to boys from other States and Union Territories.
- 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste boys
- 5% seats for Scheduled Tribe boys
- 25% seats are reserved for children of Defence Service Personnel including Ex-servicemen.
Sainik School Kodagu Application Fees
Appliers belonging to General and Defence category have to pay Rs. 400/- and SC/ST category candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/- through online mode using debit/credit card or through net banking facilities.
