TNOU B.Ed Admission Dates 2019 Released:

Last date to receive the filled in printed applications along with the relevant documents is 04-12-2018. Thereafter, TNOU B.Ed Entrance Admit Card will be available from 07-12-2018.  Subsequent to it, TNOU Entrance Test will be held on 16-12-2018.

B.Ed Spl. Education:

B.Ed.Spl.Ed. Programme (Distance mode) is of 2½ years (5 semesters). However, the student-teacher is permitted to complete within a maximum period of 5 years, after the enrolment.

TNOU B.Ed Eligibility 2019:

TNOU Admission Eligibility states that applicant must fulfill listed conditions.

• Those residing in the State of Tamil Nadu only are eligible to apply for B.Ed (Spl.Ed).
• Also, applicant must satisfy the qualification prescribed by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and Tamil Nadu G.O.(1D)No.94 .
• As per TNOU Admission Notification, applicant must possess UG Degree from any UGC recognized University in the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with minimum of 50% marks.
• Those having direct UG degree  without +2 qualification / Post-Graduate degrees without a UG degree may not apply.
• Also, those having degree under Additional Degree Programme with less than three years duration, are not eligible .
• Aspirants who have qualified the P.G. Degree in the subjects in Commerce and Economics with not less than 50% of marks are eligible for admission.

Intake Seats:

• The total intake strength for admission to B.Ed. Spl. Ed. Programme is 500. Based on rank list separately prepared for each medium, candidates will be admitted for TNOU B.Ed Spl. Education Admission.
• Each Special Education Programme Study Centre will be allotted a Maximum of 50 seats per batch.

Reservation of Seats:

Reservation of seats for aspirants belonging to BC, MBC/DNC, SC and ST communities will be made as per the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu Open University Fee Structure:

Programme fee of Rs.30,300/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Three hundred only) should be paid for the entire Programme of study.  Check TNOU B.Ed Admission fee from below table.

TNOU Application Fees:

• Those, who are going to apply for Tamil Nadu Open University Admission have to pay Rs.500/- as Application Fees
• For SC/ST candidates, the cost of Application fee  is 250/-
• Candidates applying for TNOU Admission have to submit the Application Fees in form of Demand Draft drawn from any Nationalised Bank / Scheduled Bank in favour of “Tamil Nadu Open University”, payable at Chennai

TNOU Entrance Exam Pattern 2019:

• There will be 100 questions in the Tamil Nadu Open University entrance exam
• For each correct answer 1 mark will be allotted to the candidates
• 02 hours will be allotted to the aspirants to perform the TNOU Entrance Exam
