Applying Procedure for UPSC 2018:

To apply for the Union Public Service Commission, the candidates may have a look on the below given simple instructions which are as follows:

  • First of all you must visit the official website that is www.upsc.gov.in
  • Now you will access on the home page and you need to press “online application” to fill the application form.
  • After that a new page will get opened with two options on your display screen that is “PART-I Registration” and “PART-II Registration”.

Part-I Procedure

  • Hit on the part-I procedure and then read the instructions carefully and press yes if you agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Now a new page with application form will appear on your screen, fill the details in the form carefully and then pay the application fee.
  • After the payment of the fee you can select the examination centre.
  • Candidates must also upload all the essential documents and a recent passport size photograph with scanned signature.
  • Finally you can submit the form and registration id will be generated which you can use for the future purpose while log in.

Part –II Procedure

Preliminary Exam:

After getting registered, the candidates have to appear in the preliminary exam, the authority releases the result for the same, so if you want to clear the prelims exam then you need to prepare according to the UPSC preliminary syllabus which is as follows:
