Common Management Admission Test is one of biggest National Level Entrance Examination organized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) once a year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. CMAT Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Only Indian citizen can apply for this CMAT 2018 Exam.

Qualification Needed: Applicants must hold a Graduation Degree in any stream from any recognized college or university.

Appearing Candidates: Those applicants who are in final year of Graduation, hence they can also apply.

What Will Be the Application Fee for CMAT Registration 2018?

  • For General & OBC: Rs. 1400/-
  • For SC, ST & PD candidates: Rs. 700/-
  • The fee payment can be done via online mode through Credit card / Debit card or Net Banking.
  • Students can also make fee payment through the Challan payment at any branch of SBI bank.

Online Payment: Applicants can select online payment mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking. Once your payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation E-mail and SMS. Once you have received the successful payment confirmation, applicants can proceed with the remaining part of registration procedure.

Cash Payment In SBI Bank: Contenders can select Cash Payment option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 PRINT OUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next day of generation of Challan

What is the CMAT Admission Process?

  • Admission to PGDM, MBA, PGCM, and Executive PGDM Courses will be done on basis of Common Management Admission Test 2018 Scores.
  • CMAT 2018 Exam will be held on 14-01-2018

CMAT Exam Pattern:

Exam Mode: The exam is a Computer Based Exam.

No. of Question: There will be total 100 questions asked, 25 questions from each section

Type of Question: The question paper comprises objective type questions.

Marking Scheme: Four marks will be provided for each correct answer (+4 marks)

Negative marking: There will be deduction of mark and -1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Duration: The exam duration will be three hours (180 minutes).

CMAT Exam Syllabus

Language Comprehension:

It covers comprehensive English test which includes the test of grammar, tenses, vocabulary, jumbled paragraphs and reading comprehension. Key topics from which you may expect questions are – usage of Articles, Non-finites, dangling modifiers, Nouns, Pronouns (Especially relative Pronouns), adjectives, adverbs, prepositions –regular and followed, verbs, Syntax, Subject-verb Agreement, Simple, continuous, Perfect tenses and Conditional-unreal past.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation:

While topics like table and pie chart in data interpretation section will require basic calculation skills, the topics from which most of the questions appear in quant are arithmetic (ratios, mixtures, work, averages, profit & loss, basic statistics etc), number properties, probability and counting principles with one or two odd questions in geometry and derivatives (i.e. maxima –minima).

Logical Reasoning:

The section is a mix of the topics from arrangements like linear, seating, sequencing & arranging with conditions to coding. The other questions are based on statement-conclusion, logical puzzle, numerical puzzle, Venn diagram, true/false statements, visual reasoning. The basic preparatory tip for LR is to attempt as many practice exercises as possible. They can be solved with basic human logical instinct.

General Awareness:

Current GK- based on current reading of newspapers and periodicals;  Business & Economics GK -for example changes in Fiscal and monetary policy, CRR, Repo Rate, Devaluation and up valuation of Rupee.   Please remember current GK-whether Business, national and international has an on-going preparation method and thorough reading of the newspaper only can keep you updated.

CMAT Admit Card 2018

  • Applicants have to download their CMAT 2018 Admit Card from the AICTE-CMAT website on the due date onwards.
  • Applicants need to login with their registered E-mail id and password as recorded at the time of registration for CMAT 2018 to download the CMAT Hall Ticket.
  • In their own interest, candidates should take at least 2 prints of the CMAT Admit Card 2018.
  • CMAT 2018 Exam Date: 21-01-2018

CMAT Results 2018

  • The CMAT 2018 Result will be provided to candidates in the second week of February 2018.
  • Applicants can check the CMAT Score Card 2018 via online mode through the website.
  • The CMAT Score Card will be valid for the admission to academic year of 2018-2019.
  • Students are advised to take printout of the CMAT Result and keep it safe till the admission process gets finished.

How Percentile is calculated?

A simple formula is used to determine the percentile of a candidate.

Formula: Percentile P = ( (N- your rank)/ N) x 100

(Where P stands for percentile and N is total number of candidates appeared for exam)

CMAT Merit List 2018

  • The All India Merit list of CMAT 2018 will be announced by the conducting body of the CMAT exam – AICTE.
  • It is expected to be announced in the first or second week of February 2018.
  • The merit list will have the rank and score of all the candidates
  • The Merit list of CMAT indicates the following information –
  • Name and Roll Number of every candidate
  • Rank of every candidate
  • Score and percentile in all the sections – QTDI, LR, LC and GA
  • Overall score
  • Overall percentile

How to Fill the CMAT Application Form 2018?

Step 1: Applicants first of all visit the official site that is www.aicte-cmat.in for CMAT Login.

Step 2: On home page of official site select and hit the appropriate link to apply online for CMAT Registration 2018 19.

Step 3: Then on next page select the appropriate link related to suitability.

Step 4: If you are the New User then hit on “New User” link

Step 5: Already Registered user can login their account by entering Application ID and DOB.

Step 6: Fill your personal and academic details in CMAT 2018 Application Form.

Step 7: Upload your scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Step 8: Pay the application fee by using online payment.

Step 9: Check form at once and press on “Submit” button.
