Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level entrance test regulated by IITs & IISC rotationally. Prior applying for GATE 2019 Exam, you must check GATE Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit, and Qualifying Degree & Number of Attempts details.

GATE 2019 Eligibility Criteria (No age limit):
Candidates must refer the table stated below to match the GATE Eligibility Criteria needed for examinations. Candidates must remember that this qualification criteria is only for appear in test, not for the admissions.

Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India:
- Must have completed or are in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree (duration: at least 4 years) in Engineering/Technology.
- Must have completed or are in the final year of their Post Graduate (Master’s) degree (duration: at least 2 years) in any relevant science subject.
GATE Age Restrictions:
As per GATE Eligibility Criteria 2019, candidates who are going to fill applications for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, Their minimum age, should be less than 18 years and there is no age limits for upper age. Applicants must have required qualification for test.

Attempts Details for GATE 2019:
- Applicants can appear for GATE exams many times as they want but applicants must try to clear it in 1st or 2nd attempt.
- Till 2014 the validity of GATE Rank Card was 02 years but now form 2017 the validity of score card is 03 years.
- There is no restriction on the number of GATE attempts on criteria of caste and age.
GATE Exam Details:
There are 23 Discipline under Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering but one should appear for only one discipline.

Biometric details for erratically appointed aspirants may be captured before the start of the exam.
Applicants are required to fill application forms for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering via online process only.
GATE examinations are going to be held in 1st week of February 2019
