Jawaharlal Nehru University is the leading University which conducts an entrance examination every year for admission to various Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Courses. JNU Admission 2018 will be started from 23rd July 2018 onwards for academic session 2018-19. So, those applicants who wish to get admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University can fill the JNU Admission Form through online process on or before the last date.

Admission to Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Courses will be done on basis of Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam and CEEB which will be held from 27th to 30th December 2017. JNU Eligibility Criteria:

For B.A. (Hons.) 1st year: Applicants must have Passed/appearing 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks and must have Certificate of Alimiah with atleast 45% marks and passed English Language subject at senor secondary level or a 3-years course conducted by Darul-Uloom, Deoband.

For B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in German: Contenders should possess first year of Bachelor’s degree or an examination recognized as equivalent with at least 50% marks under 10+2+3 pattern with proficiency in German.

For B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year other than German: Applicants should possess Bachelor’s degree or an examination recognized as equivalent with at least 45% marks under 10+2+3 pattern with proficiency in concerned language.

For M.A. in Economics: Aspirants should possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks can apply for JNU MA Admission 2018.

For M.Phil/Ph.D: Contenders should have possessed Master’s Degree in the related discipline from recognized University / Institute.

For M.Sc (Life Sciences): Must have Bachelor’s (B. Sc. or B Tech or equivalent) in Biological,  Physical  or  Agricultural  Sciences  or Biotechnology under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks.

For MCA: Should hold Bachelor’s Degree (like BCA or B.Tech) with Mathematics in 10+2 or at graduate level with at least 55% marks can apply for JNU MCA Admission 2018.

For M.Phil/Ph.D & Ph.D (Through JRF): Must have done M.Sc in relevant subject for JNU PHD Admission 2018. Candidates who have qualified for the examination for a fellowship through a national level written test, i.e. JRF category under CSIR/UGC National Eligibility Test (NET)-JRF, DBT-JRF (Category-I), ICMR-JRF, INSPIRE Fellowship or any other fellowship awarded from Government of India.

Mode of Payment:

Applicants can pay the application fee through online mode using Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or e-Challan of SBI Bank. GST will also be applicable.

JNU Delhi Admission 2018 Process:

Admission to Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Courses will be done on basis of Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam 2018 and CEEB. Final Merit list will be drawn on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance test and viva-voce.

M.Sc. Environmental Sciences Question paper will be of objective type and include questions in two parts.

  • Part-1: Include questions from Science and Mathematics of 10+2 standard.
  • Part-2: Include questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Botany and Zoology at the B.Sc. level.
MCA It includes the multiple choice questions.

10+2/Graduate level Mathematics and Probability (80% questions) and General Aptitude and reasoning (20% questions).

B.A. (Hons.) 1st year in Foreign Languages The paper judges General Knowledge, General English and Elementary Knowledge on the culture and civilization of the languages/country concerned and aptitude for language skills.
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign Languages Knowledge of basic and applied grammar, besides some competence for simple translation from the language concerned into English and vice-versa and familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country concerned.

The paper will be set in respective foreign language.

M.Phil/Ph.D and M.Tech/Ph.D

The entrance examination will consists of multiple choice questions.

The question paper has Graduate/Post graduate  level Mathematics and Statistics, Graduate/Post  -graduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude.

Instructions to Fill JNU Admission Form 2018:

  • Candidates who are willing to get admission in this university first of all they need to visit official website of university that is www.jnu.ac.in
  • After that on the next page aspirants are required to choose ‘Admission’ section and hit the appropriate link related to course.
  • Thereafter on the next page appliers have to select ‘New Registration / Candidate Login’ link and register yourself for entrance examination.
  • After successful registration applicants have to fill online application form with all correct details like Name, DOB, and Address etc.
  • Now applicants need to choose your password 8 characters and login with it and fill online JNU Application Form with all required and mandatory details.
  • Contenders have to upload a recent scanned photograph (20-50 KB) and signature (10-20 kb) at the time of filling application form.
  • Once the application form is being filled completely candidates must recheck your information carefully and hit on submit tab.
  • Lastly, applicants should take a printout of submitted registration form and bring it at the time of JNU Admission 2018.
