Punjab Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

for SC Students
i) Meant for post-matric level students i.e. Class 11 to postdoctoral level.
ii) The family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2.50 Lakh.
iii) The applicant must belong to the SC category.
Pre-Matric Scholarship
for SC Students
i) Students of Class 9 & 10 can apply.
ii) The family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2 Lakh.
iii) Students receiving any other centrally-funded scholarships are not eligible.
iv) The applicant must belong to the SC category.
Post Matric Scholarship
for OBC Students
i) The scheme is meant for students of Classes 9 & 10.
ii) The family’s annual income must not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh.
iii) Students receiving any other centrally-funded scholarships are not eligible.
iv) The candidate must belong to the SC category.
Pre-Matric Scholarship
for OBC Students
i) Students of Class 1 to 10 are eligible for this scheme.
ii) The family’s annual income must not be above Rs. 44,500.
iii) This scheme is only meant for OBC category students.
Chief Minister
Scholarship Scheme
i) It is meant for Class 10th passed students.
ii) He/she must be pursuing diploma courses from government polytechnics.
iii) He/she must have obtained at least 60%.
Pre-Matric Scholarship
for Minorities
i) This scheme is meant for Minority community students (Sikhs, Muslims, Parsis, Christians, Jains, and Buddhists).
ii) The applicant must be studying in Classes 1 to 10 in a government/private school.
iii) He/she must have obtained at least 50% marks in the last qualifying exam.
iv) The annual income of the family must not be above Rs. 1 Lakh.
Post-Matric Scholarship
for Minorities
i) Students of minority communities (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jains, Parsis, and Buddhists) are eligible for this scheme.
ii) Applicant must be studying at a post-matriculation level (Class 11 to Ph.D.).
iii) The family’s annual income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh from all sources.
Merit-cum-Means
Scholarship for
Minorities
i) The scheme is only meant for Minority community students (Sikhs, Muslims, Parsis, Christians, Jains, and Buddhists).
ii) Applicant must be enrolled in a UG or PG degree course in Technical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Professional, Management, etc.
iii) The minimum percentage of marks in the previous qualifying examination is 50%.
iv) The annual income of the family must not be above Rs. 2.50 Lakh.
Attendance Scholarship
for Primary Girl Students
Of BC/EBC Families
i) This scheme is meant for Girl students studying at the primary level.
ii) The minimum class attendance should be 75%.
iii) Their parents/guardians should not own more than 5 acres of land.
iv) The family’s annual income should be less than Rs. 1 Lakh.

i) Maintenance allowance of up to Rs. 750 per month for hostellers and Rs. 350 pm for day scholars.
ii) Monthly reader charges of up to Rs. 175 for visually impaired candidates.

iv) Study tour charges of up to Rs. 900 per year.

i) Rs. 25 per month – For students of Classes 1 to 5

i) Rs. 600 pm – Maintenance allowance for hostellers (Class 6 to 10).
ii) Rs. 100 pm – Maintenance allowance for day scholars (Class 1 to 10).

iv) A tuition fee of Rs. 350 per month (Class 6 to 10).

i) Admission and tuition/course fee of up to Rs. 10,000 per annum.

  • You need to visit the official Punjab Scholarship portal which is www.scholarships.punjab.gov.in.
  • Then follow the below-listed steps as per your status (New or Existing User).

New User:

  • Candidates have to hit on the “Student Registration” link, which is available under the “Student Corner” section on the left side of the Punjab Scholarships Portal.
  • A registration form will be available on your digital screen; you need to fill it in an accurate manner.
  • Upload the compulsory credentials to grab Scholarship Portal Punjab and press the “Submit” button
  • After that, you will get a “User ID & Password” which you have to use to log in into your account for Punjab Scholarship 2022.

Existing Users:

  • Existing users and after registration new users both have to hit on the “Registered Student’s Login” link, accessible on the E Punjab Scholarship Portal under “Student Corner”
