UNIT-I

Solution of Non-linear Equations: Newton-Raphson method, Von-mises formula, Chord‟s method, bisection method- Comparative study-solution of cubic equation and quartic equation

UNIT-II

Numerical integration: Newton-Cotes integration formulas- Trapezoidal rule-Romberg Integration – Simpson‟s rule – Gaussian quadrature – Errors in integration formulas – Multiple integration with variable limit
