As per AP EDCET Syllabus 2019, the duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours) and the medium of paper will be English as well as Telugu. - Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general knowledge of the environment around him and its application to society.
- Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific outlook as is expected of an educated person.

AP EDCET 2019 Marking Scheme:
- 1 mark will be awarded for marking every accurate answer.
- There will be no penalty for incorrect or wrong answers i.e. negative marking is not applicable.
- No mark will be deducted from the total score of the aspirant for leaving a question blank or not attempting it.
- If two options are marked as answers, it will be considered as a wrong answer.
