BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

BITSAT Eligibility 2019:

It is necessary to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria given for the BITSAT entrance exam. Candidates are advised to read the complete eligibility criteria and then proceed to fill BITSAT application form.

For B.Pharma:

Candidates should have passed the 12th or equivalent examination from the Central board/State Board/any equivalent board. It is must obtain the 75% marks in the PCB group. 60% marks in each subjects is necessary.

For all courses except B.Pharma:

Candidates should pass the 12th class from a recognized Central Board or State Board. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

Other Conditions:

• If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his/her latest performance will be considered.
• Candidates those presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT 2019.
• The eligibility for admission will be subject to fulfilling the required minimum marks in 10+2 examination.

BITSAT Detailed Eligibility Criteria:

• Applying contenders must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination (from any state or central board of school education).
• Contenders are required to secure at least 75% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
• Apart from the above said percentage, must have secured 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects.
• Proficiency in English must be required for appearing in BITSAT 2018.
• Contenders passed class 12th or qualifying examination in the year 2017 or are appearing in 2018 are eligible for appearing in BITSAT 2018.
• In case, candidates appeared more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, latest performance will be preferred.
• Candidates already/presently studying in any of 3 campuses of BITS are not eligible to sit for BITSAT 2018.

Age Limit for BITSAT Exam 2019:

• Applying contenders for Birla Institute of Technology & Science Aptitude Test must be completed 18 years as on last date of the submission of online application form.
• Age relaxation in age for candidates belonging to SC/ ST and other reserved categories will be decided by the organization as per their rules.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Top Rankers:

• Here’s direct admission is also provided to central or state board top rankers or candidates with Rank 1 in India.
• Students can choose their willing programme, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT 2019.
• Top rankers are not required to appear in BITSAT 2019, however, they are required to meet Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT Exam 2019.
