JEST Application Form

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is going to conduct the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST). JEST is a national level entrance exam which is organizes to grant admissions in Ph.d of Integrated Ph.d program in physics or theoretical Computer Science Neuroscience/Computational Biology. The admission of all eligible candidates is strictly based on the merit list which is drawn up on their performance in written exam.

Eligibility Required:

Applicants who want to take admission must Graduation or B.Sc degree for Integrated Ph.D and M.Sc degree or Post Graduation in relevant fields for Ph.D programs from recognized university.

Application Fees:

All applicants should need to pay Rs 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST candidates) as application fees. Candidates can pay the application fees through online mode using State Bank of India I-collect facility, Debit OR Credit cards and State Bank of India Net-banking.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of contenders for appropriate PH.D courses will be done through qualifying marks in Joint Entrance Screening Test followed by other process of admission such as Interview.

The questions asked in examination are based on the general syllabus of Graduation and Post-graduation level courses offered by various Indian universities and institutions. JEST (Joint Entrance Screening Test) question papers are normally not made available.

How to fill JEST Application Form:

  • Applicants may apply online through the official site of the organization that is www.jest.org.in.
  • Hit “Apply” tab given in the menu bar on the home page.
