KPSC Departmental Exam
Every year Karnataka Public Service Commission conducts the Service/Departmental Examinations prescribed for Government servants. KPSC Departmental Exam
To make candidates aware of all the important news like KPSC result, date of next examination, the last date to submitting the applications etc., the commission publishes it in two major daily news papers. The examinations is conducted in two parts i.e. Karnataka Session I/II which includes-
- 19 papers of 13 various subjects with the system of central valuation
- 98 papers of 63 various subjects are conducted in objective multiple choice type (OMR).
Candidates are informed to download the Admission Tickets before the commencement of examination by visiting its official website. Aspirants must keep their admission ticket safely as no duplicate of the same will be given afterwards.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of Session I/II Test. Then the selected candidates will be called for the interview that will be conducted by the selection committee. So candidates must prepare themselves best with full knowledge of all the subjects in order to clear the exam.

Re-totaling Of Marks:
Failed Candidates can apply for Re-totaling of Marks of any subject within 30 days after the result is declared by paying a sum of Rs. 100/- as fee for each subject through Indian Postal Order. Except this there is no other option available for the students to reopen their sheets.
The Karnataka Public Service Commission will declare the result for all the examination specifying the register numbers of the candidates who have clear the exam on its official website i.e. kpsc.kar.nic.in and also in the Karnataka Gazette. The Controller of KPSC Departmental Exam will issue a certificate to the successful candidates.

Procedure to Be Followed For Issue Of Duplicate Certificate/S And Re totaling Of Marks For Departmental Examinations:
Candidates who want to issue Duplicate Certificate and Re-totaling Of Marks, may fill two separate forms through online mode. Download the form and fill it completely with the required details.
Candidates will be issued the duplicate certificate within 15 days from the date of receipt of the form, only if the information given is correct.
