BCKV Admission Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates, who want to take Admission in Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya for UG Courses, must have passed Higher Secondary examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing at least 50% (40% for SC/ ST/ PH categories candidates) marks in aggregate in the aforesaid four subjects.
• For Post Graduate courses, students are required to possess Graduation Degree in relevant field from recognized university or institution with good academic records

Age Limitations:

• Participating candidates should have born on or before the date, which is given in official notification.
• Applying candidates should not less than 16 years or born on or before 01st June 1999.
• Upper age will be relaxable for reserved categories candidates according to the university norms.

BCKV Admission Fee:

Applying Candidates for B.Sc. (Ag) Hons and B.Sc. (Hort.) Hons in Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya have to submit admission fee of Rs. 4900/- (Excluding hostel fee) towards admission fee. For B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) – Rs. 5000/-. for Master of Science (M.Sc) – 5,372 and for Ph.D- 14,258/-

Mode of Enrollment:

Enrollment of the applicants will be based on the basis of their merit list on the same date after counseling. Merit list will be exhibited on the notice board of organization.

Procedure to Apply for BCKV Admission:

• First of all, applicants, who are going to apply for BCKV Admission, need to fill online application form by visiting the official website that is www.bckv.edu.in.
• Now, hit on “Admission” tab which is shown at the left side of the homepage.
• Press on “Notification: UG/PG Admission (2019-20) (No. ASS/1/U.G. /P.G. 2019-20)” link for getting information about admission.
• Now, aspirants are advised to go through the complete PDF content given on next page.
• After that, applicants are required to get back on previous page and hit on “Online Application Form” for Undergraduate/PG Admission 2019” link.
• Individuals should read complete instructions given on next page and hit on “start form fill up” tab.
• Now, enter the whole information with complete details in accurate manner and need to upload your pass port size photo of size (2.5 Cm X 3.5 CM) (Width X Height) and file size should not exceed 40 KB.
• Make the fee payment and press “Submit” button for the final submission of BCKV Application Form.
• At last, take a print out of BCKV Online Application Form for future reference.

B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering):

Documents Required, At the Time of Admission (Original and one attested copy of each):

• All relevant documents issued by the WBJEE Board including WBJEE enrolment No. and WBJEE rank card.
• Mark sheets and Certificate (Madhyamik/ 10th level and H.S./ 10+2 level).
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Character Certificate from the concern institutes/ schools starting the total marks obtained by the applicant in Higher Secondary Examination in original and not older than six months.
• Income Certificate of parents/ guardians issued by the employer in case of those who are under employment and the same issue by the competent authority in case of those who are under self employment.
• Voter Identity Card (EPIC) and Adhaar cards of the candidates or his/her parents.
• Below poverty level certificate, if any, issued by the concerned authority of the Government of West Bengal
• Appropriate Medical fitness Certificate in original
• Domicile certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Chairman, Municipality/ Pradhan, Gram Panchayat/ B.D.O/ S.D.O) [Compulsory in case of reserved category
• Blood Electrophoresis (Thalasssaemia) test report.
• Three copies of recent colour passport size photographs.

B.Sc. (Agriculture) & B.Sc. (Horticulture) –

Documents Required, At The Time of Admission & Counseling:

• S. Mark sheet (both side) & Age proof certificate (Madhyamik Admit card).
• Certificate (the category – SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-b) of the competent authority under which candidate applied for.
• Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Chairman, Municipality/ Pradhan, Gram Panchayat/ B.D.O/ S.D.O).
• Adhaar / Voter’s Identity Card of the candidate or his/her parent (if any).
• Passport size photo (4 copies) + Stamp size photo (2 copies) for Library Membership.
• Medical Certificate (not more than 6 months old) from proper authority for Physically Handicapped applicants along with Certificate From an Opthomologist to rule out Refractive Errors & Colour blindness.
• Sports proficiency certificates (at least inter district level) of the competent authority (For Sports quota candidates).
