IMU UG Eligibility:

Age Criteria:

• Minimum Age: The minimum age limit should be 17 years as on 1st August 2019.
• Maximum Age: The maximum age limit should be 25 years as on 1st August 2019.

Relaxation In Age:

 There will be 5 years relaxation in maximum age limit for SC/ST category.

Qualification Criteria:

IMU PG Eligibility:

 Point to be noted for Reserved Category Applicants:

• For SC/ST category, there will be 5% relaxation in eligibility marks, it will not apply to English marks.
• Appearing Candidates can also apply but they qualify the exam before 31st May 2019.

Other Eligibility Norms:

• Applicant should be medically fit & meet the medical requirements as specified by DGS guidelines.
• Candidates have a good binocular vision. The vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately.
• For B. Tech (Marine Engineering), the vision should be unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in the better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in the other eye.

IMU CET Ph.D Eligibility:

• Candidates who have passed SSLC (10th or 11th class/grade and PUC or higher secondary (12th grade) before joining undergraduate (UG) programme (3 or more years) and UG before joining PG degree programme
• That is, 10+2+UG Degree (3 or more years) or 11+1+ UG Degree (3 or more years).
• Post Graduate (P.G) shall be in the respective areas of research in the Schools mentioned in previous slide or a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). For SC/ ST/ OBC(NCL)/ PwD Candidates, the minimum marks shall be 50% (or equivalent CGPA).
• S (by Research) or M.Phil degree in the respective areas of research in the Schools mentioned in previous slide or a relevant discipline.

IMU CET MS Eligibility:

• Under Graduate (U.G) degree with 10+2+( 3 or 4 ) pattern in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), except in the case of Mariners for whom a Master or MEO Class I Certificate of Competency would suffice
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD Candidates, the minimum marks shall be 50% (or equivalent CGPA)

Registration Fee:

Make payment of fee through online (credit card/debit card) mode at time of submission of IMU CET Application Form 2019-2020

• General/OBC-NCL: Rs. 1000/-
• SC/ST: Rs. 700/-

Registration Fee For BBA (Logistics, Retailing and e Commerce):

• There will be NO CET for admissions to this programm
• Registration Fee will be Rs. 200 for General/OBC (NCL) candidates and Rs.140 for SC/ST.

IMU CET Admission Criteria:

• All admissions to the various UG (except BBA), PG and Research Programmes of the IMU and its Affiliated Institutes for the Academic Year 2019-20 starting on Thursday, 01st August 2019 will be through all-India Online Common Entrance Tests (CETs).
• Common Entrance Test will take place on 01st June 2019 between 11 am and 2 pm.
