National Institute of Design has successfully released NID DAT Prelims Score Card for B.Des and GDPD on 19-03-2019 & 20-03-2019. Now, M.Des/B.Des & GDPD Main will be held & thereafter, NID Results will be released. At nid.edu, result as well as NID Cut off will be published.

DAT Mains for admission in B.Des and GDPD will take place on 12-05-2019 or 19-05-2019. On other hand, those applied for admission in M.Des will sit for Mains from 11-03-2019 to 12-04-2019 at allocated test cities.

NID DAT Mains For B.Des/B.Des & GDPD 2019:
On the basis of DAT Prelims scores, aspirants are invited for DAT Mains i.e Studio Test and Interview. The number of contestants shortlisted will be no less than three times the number of seats available per category in that discipline.
In case of a tie, i.e. if the total scores in the exam of two or more candidates are same, they will be assigned the same rank.
Weightage of Prelims Exam is as:

NID DAT Cut Off 2019:
Candidates from the reserved categories shall be offered admission as per rank in first cut off list. Along with NID DAT M.Des Result or NID DAT Result, National Institute of Design Cut off list will also be published soon as per SC, ST and OBC & General Category.
Relaxation in cut-off scores for the candidates from reserved categories:

NID DAT Mains Result 2019:
- Note that simply obtaining a rank in the merit list does not guarantee admission to the programme of your choice.
- Moreover, requests for rechecking answers of the NID DAT Prelims or Mains will be restricted to checking whether all the answers have been examined as well as
- totalling of marks for each question will be checked.
- Any requests sent without a scanned copy of the Admit Card will not be responded.
Final Merit List for NID DAT 2019:
The final merit list for each discipline of the B.Des., M.Des. & GDPD programme shall be published category wise. It will be sum total of the scores obtained by the candidate at each stage of admission criteria.
National Institute of Design Courses Fees Details: NID Fee Structure
NID Admission 2019 in B.Des and GDPD:
Contestants admitted to the B.Des and GDPD programme shall be required to attend a mandatory foundation programme of one-year duration.
Along with this, allotment of a discipline of choice shall be based on a candidate’s merit and choice only after successful completion of the foundation programme.
