UCEED 2019 Important Dates

UCEED Exam Online Application Form

UCEED results will be released on 01-03-2019. Candidates have to clear UCEED 2019 Exam to get admission in Bachelor of Design course. The Institute will organize the counseling for UCEED 2019 in the month of July after the declaration of results.

UCEED 2019

Eligibility Criteria for Appearing In UCEED 2019:

Applicants, who want to fill application for Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design, need to know the required UCEED 2019 Eligibility norms. So applicants have to fulfill the following conditions:

Age limit:

Applicants must born on or after October 1, 1994 if belonging to the OPEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1989 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

Number of attempts:

Participants may appear UCEED for a maximum two times and that too in consecutive years. Applicants are informed that the score of UCEED is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the corresponding academic year.

Qualifying examination:

Applicants must pass in Class XII or equivalent in 2018, OR appearing in 2019. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

Please Note!!!

Those applicants, who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2016 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in UCEED.

Documents required for filing up UCEED Application Form:

• Applicants must have a recent passport size color photograph.

10 Easy Steps to fill UCEED Online Application Form:

Applicants may follow the below mentioned steps to Registration for UCEED 2019. You can register yourself via online process only. Please have a look:

Step 1: First of all you have to visit the Official website that is www.uceed.iitb.ac.in.

Step 2: Now you will get the official portal read all the details mentioned on the home page. After reading it you must hit on “REGISTER ONLINE” link, stable in menu bar at the top of home page.

Step 3: Read the conditions related to registration and then hit on appropriate link for registration.

Step 4: Registration form will be displayed on your computer screen. You need to fill all the details in it. When you fill all the information in it then you should review it and hit on “Save & Continue” tab.

Step 5: It will generate a “Registration number & Password” you need to keep it in your mind as it will be required at the time of filling up application form.

Step 6: You need to login to your account by using your “Registration number & Password”.

Step 7: Fill the application form in correct manner. After filling all the details you are required to review it as no changes will be made after submission. After review, you need to hit on “Submit” button.

Step 8: Afterwards you must upload the needed documents in the respective blanks and hit on “Save & Continue” button.

Step 9: You need to pay the application fee as according to the appropriate method.

Step 10: After completing all the formalities don’t forget to take print out of filled application form for future use.

UCEED 2019 Exam:

Applicants, going to appear for UCEED Exam, must check UCEED Exam Pattern and prepare as according to it. Please have a look:

There will be only 1 question paper and time duration of examination would be 3 hours. The examination will be in English language. It would be an online computer based test. The question paper will divided in 3 sections carrying total of 300 marks. Applicants may check the sections details:

SECTION A: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. For these questions, the answer is a number that needs to be entered using a virtual keyboard in the computer screen. No choices will be shown for these questions. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks.  There is NO NEGATIVE marks for this section. Questions not attempted will be given zero mark.

SECTION B: Multiple Select Questions (MSQ). Each MSQ has ONE OR MORE correct answer(s) out of the four given choices. The candidate gets 4 marks only if ALL the correct choices and NO wrong choices are selected. There is NO NEGATIVE or PARTIAL marks for this section. Questions not attempted will be given zero mark.

 SECTION C: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each MCQ has four choices out of which ONLY ONE is the correct answer. There is NEGATIVE marking for this section. Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks and each wrong answer will be awarded –1 (minus one) mark. Questions not attempted will be given zero mark.

UCEED Exam Centers 2019:

Applicants may see the centers for examination. UCEED 2019 will be held in the following 20 cities in India:

Candidates have to choose compulsorily 3 cities as per their choice, in the order of preference, at the time of filing up online application. Applicants must remember that there will be not any changes made after submission of application form.

UCEED Important Dates:

UCEED Admit Card

UCEED Admit Card will be released on 01-01- 2019. Only those candidates will be able to download the admit card who registered themselves successfully for the exam. Candidates have to visit the official website of UCEED .To download the admit card. Candidates can download it by entering their user ID and password. The applicants must bring the admit card to the examination center as without it, you will not ba allowed to sit in exam.

UCEED Result

The Result of UCEED 2019 will be available from 01-03-2019 on the official website of UCEED. Candidates will be able to check their result via online mode only. To check the result, candidates have to enter their login and password. The authoriies will also provide the score cards to the candidates who qualify in the exams. After the declaration of result, a merit list will be prepared to as per the marks secured by candidates.

UCEED 2019 Admission Process

Candidates will be given admission in B. Des courses as per the marks secured in UCEED Entrance exam. UCEED Admission Process will start in the month of July. Qualified candidates have to fill their choice of college and course during admission process. Candidates will also have to submit the counseling fee to participate in UCCED Counseling.
