Punjab Joint Entrance Test is organized for admission in Polytechnic diploma courses offered by 130 polytechnic institutions of Punjab. This year no Punjab Polytechnic Entrance Exam will be held. Instead, admission in Punjab Polytechnic will be done by preparing a merit list on the basis of 10th board marks.

Punjab JET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to take admission in Punjab State Polytechnic College must fulfill the below given eligibility criteria:
- Nationality: Candidate must be the citizen of India.
- Domicile: Applying candidate should belong to the Punjab state.
- Age: There is no age limit to apply for Punjab JET 2019.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates should pass the 10th examination from state Board/CBSE/ ICSE/National Open School or from any other board.
- Subjects: Candidates must have passed 12th class with Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English as subjects.
- Minimum Marks: 35% marks are the required marks to appear in the exam.

Punjab JET Result/Merit 2019
Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh will release Punjab JET 2019 Results. With the help of registration number or roll number, you may get exam results. Result will be available for download from 3rd week of June 2019. The merit list will be purely based on Matriculation examination scores of the students. Candidates will be invited for the counselling on the basis of the merit list.

Punjab JET Counselling 2019
The Punjab JET 2019 counselling will be conducted through online mode. Counselling session will commences from 4th week of June 2019. No counselling fee will be charged. On the basis of the merit, admission will be provided. Candidates have to carry their original Certificates for Verification on the day of Counselling. After each round of counselling the seat allotment result will be published on the website.

Punjab JET Admission 2019
Punjab Polytechnic Admission will be given to those candidates who have their name in the Punjab JET Merit List and cleared the document verification round. Candidates, who skip the counselling and not reporting at allotted college, will result in cancelling of candidature.
