- Log on to the official website i.e. www.ouat.nic.in
- After reaching the homepage select and hit on appropriate link regarding OUAT Result
- Thereafter a new page will come out along with a dialog box asking for details like roll number/DOB
- Enter the credentials and then hit on Search tab
- Within few seconds, the Result OUAT will appear in front of you
- Check the OUAT Scorecard and download it
- Finally take a print out of it and keep it safe for further usage

OUAT Merit List 2018:
After the declaration of the OUAT 2018 Entrance Exam Result, OUAT 2018 Merit List will be prepared. Following are the details that will be available at the Merit List of OUAT 2018.

- Name of the candidate
- Roll Number
Along with the common merit list & category wise merit list , the exam authorities will also declare a Merit List that will be based on the weighted score for all the U.G. admission of candidates will be done on the basis of Counseling and for counseling candidates will be called on the basis of Merit List.

Tie Breaker Criteria
In case of two or more candidates scores same marks/ OUAT Results then the tie will get break on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination or +2 Science or HSC/equivalent in that order.
Weightage to Academic Career and Entrance Examination
Weighted score of candidates will be calculated on the basis of his/her academic career and Entrance Examination as given below:

What after OUAT Results 2018:
Candidates who will get qualified OUAT Results will be called for counseling. While appearing in the Document verification and Counseling process candidates are required to carry the following:
- Intimation letter –cum-rank card.
- Downloaded application From-B.
- Mark sheets and pass certificate of H.S.C/ S.S.C./Equivalent from the Board of Secondary Education / CBSE/ICSC as the case may be.
- Mark sheets and pass certificate of +2 Science from CHSE/ CBSE/ ICSC/ equivalent.
- L.C. and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
- Migration Certificate from the University / Board of last attended.
- SC/ST/Green Card /Physically Handicapped certificate from the competent authority for the respective reserved category
- In case of NRI Candidates
i) Passport of the sponsor.
ii) Visa/Permanent residential certificate of sponsor.
iii) Residential proof of sponsor (electric bill, telephone bill, water bill etc.) - Certificate as proof of OUAT employee from Head of the office
- Medical Fitness Certificate in prescribed Form
- Certificate towards discontinuation of study in the specified format.
- Residential certificate (Except for students who studied odia as a subject in 10th
standard - Permanent Residential Certificate for Western Odisha (refer Clause-3.4 ).
- Aadhaar Card.
- Permission Letter from the employer in case of the in-service candidate.
- 5 passport size photograph as uploaded in Form-A.
