SSC Eligibility Criteria

For various position such as CGL, CHSL, MTS, LDC, DEO other competitive examination, SSC Eligibility Criteria 2019 is given below to recruit only deserving and captivated candidates at different jobs positions in the department.

SSC Eligibility Norms: Nationality/Citizenship:

A candidate must be either
A citizen of India, orA subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SSC Qualification Criteria

Exam authority of Staff Selection Commission conducts approximately ten exams (namely SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, SSC JE, SSC JHT, SSC GD Constable, SSC CPO, SSC Stenographer, SSC Selection posts, SSC MTS, and SSC Scientific Assistant) for recruiting the officers and clerks in the government departments and other ministries.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for CGL Post should possess Graduate Degree from any recognized University/ Institute/ College with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subjects with good academic records and must have knowledge of Computer according to SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria.

SSC CGL Qualification:

SSC Age Limits for CGL

According to SSC CGL Exam Eligibility Criteria, Applicant’s age should not be less than 18 years and maximum age should be 32 years as on 01/08/2019.

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed 12th Standard or equivalent examination in relevant disciplines with good academic records from well recognized University/ Board must have knowledge of Computer.

SSC Age Criteria for CHSL

Age of candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria

As per Eligibility Criteria for SSC one should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from well recognized Board/ University.

SSC Age Limitation

Age of candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years.

SSC LDC Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from well recognized Board/ University.

Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute. 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 key depressions per hour/9000 key depressions per hour respectively.

Restriction of Age:

Minimum age of candidates should be 18 years and maximum age of candidates should be 27 years.

SSC DEO Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from well recognized Board/ University with a computer speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour.

Age Limitation:

The applicants must be in between 18 years to 27 years of age.
