Union Public Service Commission has released the IES Admit Card for those candidates who are going to appear in Indian engineering service (IES) preliminary examination (इंजीनियरिंग सेवा (प्रारंभिक) परीक्षा) 2019.  

Commission is conducting preliminary examination on 06-01-2019 at various centres across the country. By entering the registration or roll number, date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format), Captcha code, you can download your UPSC IES Admit Card 2019.

How to Download Union Public Service Commission IES Admit Card?

You need to follow below provided steps to download IES Stage-I Admit Card from official website. Have a look below for Admit Card of IES!!!

• Firstly applicants are needed to open the official web site of organization which is www.upsc.gov.in for IES Exam Admit Card.
• Follow ‘What’s New’ section and select “e – Admit Card: Engineering Services (Preliminary – Stage I) Examination, 2019” link.
• After that press “Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2019” link
• Read the given info and press ‘yes’ tab; as you pressed this link a further page will open to get IES 2019 Admit Card.
• Get the UPSC IES Admit Card ‘By Registration Id’ option button or ‘By Roll Number’..
• Enter your Roll Number or Registration Id, select Date Of Birth and press ‘Submit tab for IES ESE Admit Card.
• After that Indian Economic Service Admit Card will be displayed on your computer screen within a minute.
• Finally you are needed to download IES Hall Ticket or take print out of IES Call Letter and bring IES Prelim Admit Card at the time of exam.

IES Prelims Exam Pattern:

The Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination will consist of two objective type (multiple choices) questions papers and carrying a maximum of 500 marks (Paper 1 – 200 Marks & Paper II – 300 Marks). There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.

IES Prelims Exam Centres:

• Applicants should note that there will be a maximum on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres except Chennai, Delhi, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur.
• Allotment of Centres will be on the first-apply-first-alloted basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

• Applicants are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safe-keeping cannot be assured
• The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches etc. or camera or blue tooth devices are permitted in examination hall.
