AMU is the short form of Aligarh Muslim University, is known as a central university which is situated in Aligarh. AMU entrance exam is a university level examination conducted for those candidates who want to get admission in various courses offered by AMU.

This university offers admission in various courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc, MBA, B.Ed, BA. LLB, etc. Those candidates who are seeking for admission in MBBS/BDS courses offered by AMU have to qualify in the NEET examination.

Eligibility Criteria for AMU Admission 2019:

• Students must be done 12th or its equivalent examination with 45% aggregate marks for getting AMU B.Tech Admission 2019 and other Bachelor’s courses.
• For AMU PG Admission 2019, individuals are required to have Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

How to Apply for AMU Admission 2019:

• Individuals first need to visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University i.e. www.amu.ac.in
• Then select the admissions and exams tab which is visible at the menu bar.
• Press admissions tab and select courses offered option.
• Hit the course in which you are interested and select “Fill Application form” option.
• Press “Apply” button and hit register (for new user) option.
• Fill AMU Application Form and select submit option.
• Then you will receive user ID and password.
• Enter that user ID and password and press login button.
• Fill the AMU Admission Application form with correct details.
• Upload scanned copies of essential documents, photograph and signature.
• Deposit the application fee through debit/ credit card or by net banking.
• Hit submit button and take a print out of the same for further use.

AMU Admission 2019 Exam Pattern:

• The examination will be conducted on offline (PBT) mode.
• The medium of question paper will be English.
• Objective type of questions will be asked in the exam.
• There will be no negative marking in the Aligarh Muslim University Admission Exam.

AMU Admit Card:

• Applied students for AMU Admission 2019 are required to have Admit Card for appearing in exam.
