NDA Entry: 

  • How To Join Indian Air Force After 12th? NDA is the first opportunity to join the Air Force.
  • Though limited to flying branch, and exclusive to boys, IAF is the best opportunity when applicants can join after completing 12th.
  • They spend 03 years in National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, which is like a feeder institution for Air Force Academy, Dundigal.
  • Applicants can get a three year common training at NDA, and are then shifted to AFA for basic Flying Training.
  • The exam is conducted twice every year, by UPSC.

  • CDSE is an exam organized by Union Public Service Commission, twice every year.
  • This entry too is meant for all the three forces, just like NDA.

  • AFCAT is the biggest Exam conducted for inducting officer in IAF.
  • AFCAT test inducts both men and Women as officers in all the three branches of IAF, i.e. Flying, Technical and Ground Duty. Women can also make their Career in Defence Services by qualifying the AFCAT 2018.
  • AFCT is conducted twice every year by IAF, and includes an added test called EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) for Technical branch aspirants.
  • Fill the AFCAT Application Form first to appear in exam.
