Nationality/ Citizenship:

According to the SSC CHSL Notification 2018, a candidate must be either:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  • In order to apply for SSC CHSL Intermediate Notification, applicants should have passed in 12th Standard or equivalent examination with god academic record from a recognized Board or University.

SSC CHSL Age Limit:

As per the details given in the SSC CHSL Notification 2018, Aspirants who are going to apply for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level 10+2 Exam Notification their age should be lies between 18-27 years as on 01.08.2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000). However, age relaxation will be applicable for those applicants who belong to reserved category as per the norms.

Application Fee for SSC CHSL Exam:

  • Applicants who belong to UR and OBC category and going to apply for SSC CHSL DEO Notification and others are required to pay Rs. 100/- as an application fee. The required fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa/ Mastercard/Maestro Credit/ Debit card.
  • Women candidates of all categories and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ExS) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Mode of Appointment for SSC CHSL Jobs:

The selection of applying candidates for SSC CHSL LDC Notification will be done on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper) and Interview. Final selection will be done on merit basis which will be prepared as per the marks obtained in all rounds of selection.

  • In Tier-I Exam, the questions will be asked from English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
