For Trained Graduate Teacher:

It consists following subjects are as follows:

Hindi, Sanskrit, Science, Zoology, Mathematics, Home Science, Sociology, Arts, Music, Singing, Commerce, Urdu, Agriculture, Physical Education, Katai Bunai, English, and Silai.

English:

There are two sections such as Language and Literature.

Language:

  • Unseen passage for comprehension
  • Usage, Tense, Spelling, Punctuation, Narration, Vocabulary and Idioms and Phrases.

Literature:

  • Form of literature and figures of speech.
  • Authors and Works – William Wordsworth, John Keats, Charles Lamb, P.B. Shelly, Charles Dickens, Matheu Arnold, Alfred Tennyson, Thomas Hardy; T.S. Eliot, Kamala Das, Mulkraj Anand, Nissim Ezzekiel; Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Ernest Hemmigway, William Faulkner and William Shakespeare.

For Post Graduate Teacher:

It consists following subjects are as follows:

Physics, Chemistry, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Civics, Economics, Education, Psychology, Agriculture, Geology, Sociology, Music, Military Science, Reasoning, Home Science and Pali.

English:

There are two sections such as Language and Literature.

Language:

  • Unseen Passage for Comprehension.
  • Part of speech, Spelling, Punctution, Vocabulary, Tense, Narration, Prepostion Usage, Transformation and Agreement.

Literature:

  • Forms of literature
  • Authors and their work-Shakespeare, John Miltion, William Wordswarh and John Glaswarthy.

UPSESSB Exam Pattern:

 Part Subject Maximum Marks Time Duration
Part I Part I consists of questions related to English or Hindi. 200 questions 3:00 Hours
Part II Questions are asked related to General Knowledge and relevant subjects.

Distribution of Marks given here under:

  • Written Exam- 85% Marks
  • Interview– 10% Marks
  • Special Qualification- 5% Marks
  • For P.hd/ D.Phil Degree- 2% Marks
  • For M.Ed Degree- 2% Marks
  • For B.Ed Degree- 1% Marks
